Weird Sizing. Beware Marketplace items!

Sizing is off. I usually wear a 3x but wanted a bit bigger size to accommodate a bulky sweater so ordered a 4 x. It was Very big in shoulders and tight around the belly. Back it went. When I returned it, in person the only way to look up the order was using the upc code which wasn’t listed on the receipt nor could it be found in Macys system. They couldn’t scan it either. I was dismayed to learn this was b/c it was a Macys marketplace vendor. B/c it’s a marketplace vendor now I need to wait two weeks for the credit to hit my card. I will be wiser in the future and not purchase any items from Macys Marketplace. A big fail!
