I've had this sofa for about three years, white, in a Brooklyn apartment, which means it's basically one of two comfortable seats I have, lol. I sit in the same spot every time. And all day long on WFH Mondays and Fridays. No kids. I rotate the cushions very occasionally to try to prolong them, but no sagging. Of course the back cushion where I sit will depress, I just fluff or switch the cushions. I'm not sure what people are spilling on theirs that causes staining complaints, but coffee, food spills, come right up if you get to them quickly. Again, don't know what other people have tried, but for anything set in, I don't see why a pre-treat with any number of Oxi-clean type products wouldn't work before throwing it in the machine. I've washed my pillow and cushion covers a few times and they come out great. Would I sit on it with black jeans or cheap leggings that are likely to transfer dyes? No. That definitely could cause a problem. Otherwise, recommend!

I bought this in October or November 2021. It’s white. I have kids they’re now older and I have five cats, but this stays clean when you see a stain you do as the instructions say with dish soap and blotting, but my kids know better than eat nasty stuff on it as well but it’s comfortable still and it’s 2026.
Great. . . for awhile
I agree with other reviewers, despite the performance fabric, this couch gets dirty. Even without kids or pets, human contact will result in a dingy or dirty fabric. It is super comfortable, so if it's for a rec room and you don't mind a little "lived in" look or you can afford to replace it in a couple of years, it's a great couch. So a 5 for comfort and initial look, a 1 for looking great over time. I bought the white thinking the performance fabric would, well, perform. It does, until it doesn't.
do not buy light color if you have kids
I trusted the reviews that stayed drained washed off this "performance" fabric. But it has stained so badly, even washable markers won't come off. When I try and wash it off it made it worse. Do not recommend.

I purchased (2) Brenalee 93” performance fabric slipcover sofas and I could not be happier. They are sturdy and well made. Great quality! The Peyton Pearl slip covers are gorgeous! Very happy with my purchase.

I ordered this item 22 days ago. The item is still "processing"and has yet to ship although when ordered it was supposed to ship within three days. Ive contacted Macys several times and they are unable to help me, cancel order or give me any help at all. Worst experience ive had shopping with macys- bad enough that i plan to never shop at macys again. I gave a one star only because I couldnt give anythjing lower.
Great couch.. be mindful of delivery
Love this sofa - knew I wanted it when my sister got it almost 10 years ago and had waited until more colors came out. Highly recommend getting color swatches to determine best color, which is what I did (ended up with Peyton Light Blue); although, I had to wait another year once deciding to order since sofa became unavailable after tariffs. Only warning is regarding delivery delays and be sure if you live in an apartment that it can fit in elevator (sofa isn’t broken down in components)- this may no longer be relevant. My order was in July 2025 with multiple delays until eventual delivery at end of Oct 2025. Almost wasn’t delivered because the sofa didn’t fit in my apartment elevator and I had to speak with the delivery management/corporate? to confirm I was ok with them disassembling packaging in the stairwell to carry up to my apartment. Bit ridiculous packaging with limited delivery options given the price of the sofa. Now that it’s in my apartment and worn in a bit, love it!!

I bought this sofa secondhand - it came from a Macy's showroom floor and was FILTHY. We washed the slipcovers in Oxiclean and it looked good as new! This was back in 2018, two kids and three dogs ago! This couch has withstood so many messes - from food, wine, coffee or even markers. The cushions are just now finally smashed down beyond being salvaged and it's showing the wear and tear of being used daily. My family is hard on furniture. I will very likely be buying this couch for a second time, new this time around.
