Don't order the Midnight shade

I have used the Quickliner for many years and usually order the Chocolate shade, and have also ordered Plum and Charcoal. All of those have been fine. I have ordered the Midnight shade twice, however, and both times it was too dry to apply within a few weeks or months. My last purchase was 6 months ago and I have been unable to use the product for months. I reviewed comments recently and saw that someone else had the same problem, so I reached out to customer service. I was told since it was outside the return window, nothing would be done. I have been a customer for 30 years with online orders on my account for a variety of products since 2009 so this is very disappointing treatment.
