Cheap manufacturing being sold for premium
Chair comes with glaring issues related to cheap manufacturing. Chair was also delivered with many packing and shipping issues. This is not the quality you would expect from a 1k+ chair

Beautiful comfortable leather chair with ottoman
This chair has a beautiful design, quality leather and wood components, and is extremely comfortable, even in the non-reclined position. We purchased this as an accent piece for two leather power recliners, and it completes the room perfectly. We looked at similarly designed chairs that cost up to four times the price, and found this one to be more comfortable and better looking. We’re very happy with this purchase and highly recommend this chair.

Damaged Delivery by UPS for Macys
WE RECEIVED OUR FURNITURE DAMAGED. THE UPS DELIVERY DID NOT RING OUR DOORBELL AND QUIETLY LEFT DAMGED BOX ON PORCH. TAKEN PICTURES BELOW. ONCE BOX WAS OPENED FURNITURE WASA DAMAGED AT MULTIPLE POINTS. CALLING MACY'S OUR ONLY 2 OPTIONS WAS TO REQUEST A TECHNICIAN OR RETURN ITEM AND LOSE THE SALE. HAVE TO WAIT 11 DAYS FOR TECHNICIAN. VERY UNSATISFACTORY DELIVERY OF OBVIOUS DAMAGED GOODS.
not worth it
For the price of this chair . One would think it would last more than 3 years. Every 4 months or so . I have to tighten all the allen screws. Today I found out the metal bracket for the arm rest is broken now. The leather held up but the materials used for this chair are sub par. I would not recommend this chair.
Base is weak
Wood base on chair is a weakness. The central column puts stress on the surrounding wood when leaning back and mine has cracked. Chair then swivels in a lopsided way. Design issue that needs either a bigger metal plate securing the central column to the base or stronger wood or maybe just change to a metal base. It is also very hard to find a replacement. Macys customer service can only send out their furniture service partner. Earliest appointment is three weeks away. Macys service has no idea on the actual cost of the replacement part and must wait to be told by the service partner. Chair is very comfortable otherwise.
