Bye-bye K cups!

Coffeemaker works great after using twice a day (carafe and single side) for the past couple of weeks. The carafe side is easy to use and surprisingly the carafe does not drip when pouring a cup. The single side is easy as well but finding just the right mix of coffee grounds to water is a work in progress. We are thrilled to eliminate K cups from our shopping list as well as eliminating all the microplastics from the cups. We would highly recommend this coffee maker.

Water in display

While brewing coffee, the display and buttons filled full of steam and started dripping water. Shorted out the coffee maker less than six months old.

Leaking from bottom of coffee maker

Model 49980RG, only 7 months old, began leaking yesterday. We only use filtered water, not tap. Now leaking from bottom of coffee maker. It's been cleaned with 50/50 mix of water and vinegar per the website.

Hamilton Beach coffee maker

Model 49980RG. Defective. Put 160z water get 13 oz cup coffee back...Strong cup coffee Put same 160z in next day, get 19 oz coffee back, making a weak cup. I do not recommend this specific model coffee maker and would either like a refund or a different model
