I was looking for a lighter, all season comforter & was surprised to find this wool filled one. Not thick but definitely warm enough. In fact I roll it back in air conditioning usually. But the weight is lighter, more easy on my feet. The outer cotton is smooth & soft, and hopefully will spot clean well. Recommend hanging outside for airing & dry cleaning if needed.

This is a good duvet insert. It seems like it is made well, and they don’t skip on the amount of wool they use. However, I wish the shell was made out of cotton or linen. It is not that breathable, and as a hot sleeper I can’t use it in the summer. It should be a good fall/winter comforter though.

This comforter is exactly what I was looking for - cozy but cool. It gets very hot in my upstairs in the summer. This comforter is fluffy and has a little weight, but is NOT hot at all. It does have four corner duvet tabs, and I put a cotton percale duvet cover on it which helps to keep me cool. The tabs are sewn pretty flat to the duvet so you could also use this alone as a normal comforter without noticing them.

I really debated about purchasing the Hotel Collection Wool Comforter. There wasn't enough information in the description to make me want to buy it. However, when the comforter went on sale, I finally took the plunge and purchased it. I usually use a down comforter, but wanted something that could be used in all seasons, and read that wool was temperature regulating. As soon as I received the comforter, I put a duvet cover on it and put it on my bed. The comforter is very soft, and although it's not fluffy like down, it still looks and feels great on the bed. This wool comforter feels heavier than down, but has better breathability. I honestly wasn't convinced that wool would be more breathable than down, but it is. Also, when I say heavier, I do not mean hotter, or heavy that it is uncomfortable. It just feels perfect and I love it so much. I am now looking into getting a wool mattress topper. If you sleep hot, this wool comforter will help!

Love this comforter!
We were looking for something we could use year-round. And definitely did not want anything with feathers. This fit the bill perfectly. Just the right thickness to keep you comfortable without getting toasty. It's not as poofy/fluffy, so something to consider if you're looking for that fuller look. Otherwise, very happy with this purchase!
