Skirts were way to long for maxi… I’m 5’6”” and would need to trim off at least six inches to make it ankle length….. returning them

Unwearable As-Is

I got this skirt in two colors, Yellow White and Lilas Ivory. They're advertised as being 37.5" long, but that wasn't true for what I received. The Lilas Ivory was around 37.5" at the side seams, but then swooped down in both front and back to 41". The Yellow White is about 35.5" at the side seams, then the front swoops down to 44" while the back swoops down to 40". There was nothing in the product description about an uneven hemline. 37.5" I could wear, but all this extra drags on the floor. On top of that, one of the belt loops on the Lilas Ivory arrived broken. I tried to "report a problem," but Macy's mechanism for that is to chat with their bot, which just wanted me to return the items to the store. The whole reason I'm shopping online is to not have to go to the store! It's less trouble for me to take the skirts to the local tailor and have them even out the hemline. It's disgusting that I'll need to spend more money to make these skirts wearable. pics w/measuring tape at 37.5"

Awesome Skirt

This skirt is well made and attractive. I love the fact that it is not a tiered skirt. The belt is unattractive but can easily be removed as the belt loops are made of string.

Meh

Fits true to size however the blue was darker than the photo showed. Not sure why, but I was expecting the material to have a sheen but it did not.
