To create a durably tough exterior, Rocky used full-grain leather and 1000 denier nylon (superior strength). A side zipper allows you to easily get these boots on and off. It's covered with a VELCRO strap. While you're on duty, Alpha Force boots keep your feet safe. They have a composite toe that meets ASTM standards for impact and compression. The boots also meet ASTM F2413 Electrical Hazard standards. Although these Alpha Force public service boots have a tough exterior, the Air-Port cushion footbed supports and cushions your feet each time you take a step. It also circulates air within these boots. The RigiTrac outsole won't leave marks, and its slip-resistance helps you keep your balance while on duty. Comfortable, practical, just not durable.

I bought these about a year and a half ago, a second pair after my first ones were worn out. They hold very well for a pair of boots. I've never worn a more comfortable, form-fitting pair. They can easily be taken on and off with the zipper and adjusted with the laces. The composite toe is pretty useful; there are no issues with the inside. However, the sole has peeled off the back of the boot, and has gotten worse within the span of a few weeks. Though they were a comfortable pair, the work I put them through doesn't seem to make them last for two years before issues with the soles ruin the boots.

Sizing?

This is a US brand and I was expecting the sizing to be based on the US sizing chart, yet when I received them (I ordered a size 11) they were based on the UK sizing chart. Until I receive the reorder this review will stay as is.

Great boots! One small issue.
