LOVE IT!!!
I purchased all 3 pieces of the Silhouette 18 Hardside in navy to go on a 10 day Italy & French Riviera cruise. I absolutely love all these pieces, the quality of the suitcases, the zippers are heavy duty, the packing cubes...wait, let's talk about the packing cubes, the quality is superb, nice thick material, they have a zipper for expansion, yes, you read that correctly, I have never seen that in any of the packing cubes before, plus it compresses your items. I have been waiting for Samsonite to come out with a navy color, almost stalking them, I wanted navy and I was determined they would make it for me. Someone heard my thoughts and pleas and they made these pieces (just for me :)). I love this color, it's deep navy with an extra shine, but not glossy, I can't really explain it, but the color is top notch for a man or woman, take my word, if you like navy you will love this color. I am a long time lover of Samsonite luggage, I am a person if I find something I like, I stick with it. I can't even tell you how many sets and individual pieces of Samsonite I have for different purposes. True and funny story, I had some friends over and I was given them a tour of my home, we went to the basement and someone said the section where my luggage is stored looked like baggage claims, we all laughed. The price when it originally came out was a bit high, so I waited for it to go on sale and I grabbed it quickly. After receiving the pieces, I can see why the price was higher than the other sets I have. These pieces are on a total different level. Thanks Samsonite for hearing my wants and needs and delivering! I just have one other request, can you make a set of luggage that can appear less heavy on those stupid airport scales, if you do my baggage claims section in my basement will be growing again. :)

Great Bacpack
Got this for my husband for our upcoming trip. Since our flight will be almost 12 hours, it’s nice to have an extra set of clothes just in case! In addition this backpack is loaded with extra pockets for all the other necessities we need to have while traveling!

Handle Failed Before First Use
I purchased this garment bag for a week-long trip and was excited to use it. Unfortunately, the telescoping handle failed before I even left my house. As I rolled the bag toward my truck on the morning of my flight, the handle broke, and I hadn’t even had a chance to use it during travel. Because I was leaving for the airport, I didn’t have time to repack into another suitcase and was forced to use the bag with a broken handle for the entire trip. Carrying it by the stitched handles through multiple airports only made the damage worse and made traveling far more difficult than it should have been. The interior storage space and garment organization were excellent, which makes the handle failure even more disappointing. If the handle had held up, I would have rated this bag much higher. Based on my experience, I expected significantly better durability and craftsmanship from this product. A luggage handle should withstand normal use, especially on its very first outing. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this garment bag because the primary feature failed before the trip even began.

Beautiful Color But.......
I've had the tote and the handled backpack in Navy for about 3 weeks. I am a weekly traveler and I've carried the combo for two trips. The color and shape of both bags is absolutely gorgeous, however the functionality of both bags is challenged. For a less hardcore traveler this may fit the bill. The tote is tight and narrow so anything bulky inside will start to misshape the bag. This item disappointed me the most. While it does have 4 zipper compartments - they are tight, the straps have begin to show wear after 2 trips which is crazy for the price point of this collection. The backpack is tight...excellent design aspects, but poor execution. The extra tech bag is nice with its magnetic feature but it detracts from the inside space. The zippered pockets in the front are tight. Fully loaded, this backpack offers zero give. I am afraid that the magnetic handles will too show signs of wear soon. Handles in the same bag material or a mixed combo would have been more functional.

Stalwart brand things changing
Just picked up this model after replacing my old carry-on spinner which I had for 6 years and hundreds of thousands of miles of travel appreciate the Samsonite name and style yet this is all wearing down after 100,000 mi of travel this year hopefully the craftsmanship can stand up to the Samsonite name

Worst Suitcase Ever
After only two international trips, this suitcase is a joke as the zipper totally broke off. I understand that suitcases can take a toll and I’ve had other Samsonite suitcases in the past that I have even given to family members in great condition but I should have taken other reviews on this particular suitcase more seriously. I actually had to buy a cheap suitcase that was better quality than this one. Terrible. Lessen learned.
