Unfortunately my pair squeaked!

I have had this specific shoe before and loved it. I purchased it again in the same size same color. They fit the same way and I liked them but this pair squeaked terribly with every step on all surfaces in my home. Another commenter mentioned the now-shiny leather top area. Maybe this new material had something to do with the squeak? I will try them again someday, but not yet.

Canvas Sperry boat shoe

Ordered thses for the style and sale price. Very pleased with prompt delivery and silver accents, however, slightly dissapointed that the tan areas of shoe are a shiny coated canvas instead of leather. Wearing almost daily without socks no blusters or break in needed.

Sperry boat shoe

I really wanted to love these shoes! They were exactly what I had been looking for. But… they were really wide and not comfortable at all. I ordered a 7 1/2 ( my usual size) but they just did not fit well at all.
